Why me

Why me, why am I all of a sudden blogging? I am not sure to tell you the truth. I have been unemployed for the last 2 months and I guess I have run out of guilty pleasures like watching "Keeping up with the Kardashians" ( I am completely caught up) Toddlers and Tiara's (that's embarassing) and Kendra, (I am sorry but she is not that bad once you get to know her). I also have a ton of ideas running around my head and I needed some where to regurgitate them! So here I go.

I have to say that being unemployed was not part of my plan, actually my (short term) plan was to save money do some home improvements and hopefully get away with my husband and daughter this summer. Unfortunately none of that happened since I was laid off back in the end of June, which was very upsetting because of the above and not so upsetting since I was never so miserable in a job in my life, and best of all I was able to spend an amazing summer with my 7 year old daughter! I felt like every moment of it I wanted to burn into a memory since I know that I may never have this opportunity of an entire summer off again and because my daughter Samantha is growing up sooo quickly!

I put Samantha on the bus on Monday for her to start school, I was so sad this day that I just pouted and went back to bed for a while. I really thought that I would enjoy the time by my self. The first week of school has ended and I did not enjoy too much of it. I had to go to a class for unemployment, which believe it or not was not that bad, or perhaps it was just my desperation for something to do? The rest of the week I just kind of tried to find "projects" to keep my busy. Trying to keep busy and trying not to spend money do NOT go hand in hand. Everything that I could think of to do were things I could not do since I cannot afford them! My husband pointed out that cleaning the house if free.........anyone who can come up with a good comeback to that please share it with me, since housekeeping is one of my most dreaded things to do. Don't get me wrong I do do it, but I also do tend to put it of as long as possible, possibly a little longer than my husband cares for.

So I guess that is the reason...I am blogging so that I have something to do that is not mind numbing, does not cost anything and will help me to further put off cleaning the house!

The light of the moon. that is the the definition of the name of my blog. I choose it for several reasons;
1. I just came to me and I liked it.
2 I love the light of the moon
3. I think I may be a tad bit loony and therefore it seemed very fitting, with my name being Claire
4. There is a full moon tonight
